The Cleric class on The Heroes' Journey (THJ) has several unique mechanics compared to Live servers and other emulated servers. This guide covers these differences, auto-granted AAs, skill progression, and trade skills.
- Buff Persistence: Most Cleric buffs do not fade when cast on yourself or group members, as long as you remain in the same zone and group.
- Permanent Click Effects: Clickable item effects remain active as long as the item is equipped.

Clerics receive all class skills automatically at level 1, increasing them through use. Some skills (e.g., Mend or Remove Trap) may appear due to the server’s multiclassing system, but they cannot be used unless assigned at least one skill point.
