¶ Deities of Norrath
The divine pantheon of Norrath, shaping factions, philosophies, and destinies.
¶ Introduction
The Deities of Norrath, and their numerous demi-gods, have a rich history filled with myth and influence. These divine beings are the rulers of spiritual realms and often use their mortal followers as instruments to spread their philosophies. Ranging from celestial forces of good to embodiments of terror and decay, these gods shape the world's factions, events, and destinies. Their followers, in turn, reflect their deities’ ideologies, often with extreme devotion—lest they incur divine wrath.
¶ Choosing a Deity
Alongside an adventurer's race and class, their chosen deity plays a significant role in determining their faction standings and starting circumstances. On The Heroes' Journey, your starting deity will still affect your faction, but you can change deities at Ayonae, the Composer of Fate, in the Bazaar. Norrathians cannot change their religion once chosen. Some characters elect to be Agnostic, but most follow one of the major gods below.
