¶ Introduction
¶ Quest 1: Gather Ingredients & First Rank Skullcap
- Kill Sarnak Hatchling in Lake of Ill Omen and loot 4× Sarnak Hatchling Brain; also loot a Torn Tapestry and a Ripped Tapestry.
- Those rarer tapestry drops are needed later (Quest 2).
- If you’re not an Iksar, raise Brood of Kotiz faction to Amiable. Enchanter illusions help; otherwise kill Iksar bandit in Warsliks Wood/Field of Bone.
- Give the 4 Brains to Master Xydoz in West Cabilis (“/find Master Xydoz”) to receive an Apprentice Skullcap – 1st Rank. (Faction: Brood of Kotiz ≥ Amiable)
¶ Quest 2: Mended Tapestry & Second Rank Skullcap
- From more Sarnak Hatchlings, loot a Torn Tapestry and a Ripped Tapestry.
- Sew the two together in any Loom/Sewing Kit to create a Mended Tapestry (Tailoring trivial 23, fo fail).
- Hand the Mended Tapestry plus your 1st-Rank Skullcap to Master Xydoz for an Apprentice Skullcap – 2nd Rank.
¶ Quest 3: Brood Canopic & Preserved Brain
- Say “bidding of the tower” to Master Rixiz in West Cabilis to receive a Brood Canopic (2-slot container).
- Loot 2× Busted Froglok Slave Shackles from roaming Escaped Frogloks in Swamp of No Hope. Can also kill Man Eating Creeper for Creeper Cabbage while there, for Quest 4
- Turn the 2 Shackles in to The Toilmaster (East Cabilis) to get a Pile of Granite Pebbles.
- Brewing 17 – craft Embalming Fluid in a brew barrel:
- 2× Bog Juice (Water Flask + Snake Scales + Bottle, Brewing 21).
- 1× Bone Granite Powder (Smithing 21: 2 Bone Chips + Foraging Hammer + Granite Pebbles).
- 1× Rubbing Alcohol.
- Slay a Sarnak Crypt Raider for a Sarnak Raider Brain (optionally farm a Cracked Femur from a Greater Scalebone).
- Combine the Brain + Embalming Fluid inside your Brood Canopic → Preserved Sarnak Brain.
- Hand Preserved Brain + 2nd-Rank Skullcap to Master Rixiz → Apprentice Skullcap – 3rd Rank.
¶ Quest 4: Full Component Sack & Dark Binder Skullcap
- Say “apprentice of the third rank” to Master Kyvix for a 4-slot Brood Sack.
- Collect four level-10-15 components:
- Cracked Femur – drop from Greater Scalebone.
- Creeper Cabbage – drop from Man Eating Creeper.
- Intact Brutling Choppers – drop from a skulking brutling.
- Scorpion Telson – drop from a heartsting scorpion. The uncharged version will not work!
- Combine the four items in the Brood Sack → Full Component Sack.
- Turn in Full Component Sack + 3rd-Rank Skullcap to Master Kyvix → Dark Binder Skullcap.
¶ Quest 5: Occultist Skullcap
- Say “true mission” to Master Kyvix → Spectacle.
- Gather four items:
- Forsaken Pariah Mask – from an Iksar Pariah, spawn locations in lake of Ill Omens, Warslik Woods, and Swamp of No Hope.
- Evergreen Ivy Ringband – from forest giant greenwood/evergreen.
- Green Death Rum – buy from Klok Poklon.
- The Spectacle (from Kyvix).
- Hand all four to a skeleton worker (The Overthere) → Metal Key. This mob is indifferent to all.
- Turn the Key in at the Tin Banker Assistant → Journal You must be non-kos with Venril Sathir (e.g. with sneak, invis, or true faction) to complete this handin.
- Give Journal + Dark Binder Skullcap to Master Kyvix → Occultist Skullcap.
¶ Quest 6: Revenant Skullcap
- Loot a Foot of Candlestick and Stem of Candlestick from a Sarnak Revenant (five PH spots). While here, yo ucan loot one Gem of Yet to Come from a sarnak gem oracle outside the fort at -2732, +2741 (static spawn, no placeholder) for Quest 7
- (Alt path: trade a Broken Glacier Souvenir Mug to Grype in East Cabilis to get the Foot.)
- Hand Foot + Stem + Occultist Skullcap to Master Kyvix → Revenant Skullcap.
¶ Quest 7: Sceptre of Emperor Vekin & Sorcerer Skullcap
- Collect six relics:
- Unfinished Sceptre – ask Harbinger Glosk “new revenant”.
- Jewel of Ganak – from Red Eye Jack.
- Gem of Yet to Come – from a Sarnak gem oracle.
- Eye of RokGus – from Chief Rokgus You can also loot one Flaxen Lock of Hair from Chief RokGus for Quest 8 and loot one Green Goblin Skin and one Mt Death Mineral Salts from various goblins for Quest 9.".
- Shiny Emerald – from Greater Charbone (spawns under the stairs).
- Forge Hammer of Dalnir – from an undead blacksmith.
- Use any Dalnir forge to combine the six → Sceptre of Emperor Vekin.
- Turn Sceptre + Revenant Skullcap in to Harbinger Glosk → Sorcerer Skullcap.
¶ Quest 8: Barb Scaled Whip & Necromancer Skullcap
- Gather four items:
- Flaxen Lock of Hair – from Chief Rokgus.
- Yellow Whip – from a wulfware lonewolf Many spawn locations, hope you have track.
- Venril the Chief – from Iksar Tomb Raiders This item is temporary.
- Before Green by trading an Emerald to Dom K’Perl. This item is temporary.
- Turn the two scrolls (Venril & Before Green) in to the Tortured Librarian → Large Tassel Bookmark.
- Say “great sorcerer” to an Iksar Hermit → Flaxen Hilt (4-slot).
- Combine Bookmark + Flaxen Lock + Yellow Whip inside the Flaxen Hilt → Barb Scaled Whip.
- Hand Whip + Sorcerer Skullcap to the Hermit → Necromancer Skullcap.
¶ Quest 9: Demi Lich Skullcap
- Collect core trio:
- Kill Sepulcher Skeleton (Howling Stones) → Brittle Bone.
- Kill an Angered Spirit (Emerald Jungle) → Poisoned Soul.
- Kill Lava Walker (Skyfire) → Fiery Orb.
- Give Necromancer Skullcap to Ixpacan in The Overthere (he returns it) and say “collect these items” → Ixpacan’s Tome (4-slot container).
- Kill Rogue Marauder (Trakanon’s Teeth) → Rogue Marauder’s Head.
- Turn the Head in to Harbinger Glosk → Glosk’s Sack. You cannot complete this step before the turning to Ixpacan.
- Combine six reagents inside Glosk’s Sack → Gem of Reflection:
- Blue Slumber Fungus (Myconid, Old Sebilis/Lesser Faydark)
- Essence of Rathe (world drop)
- Green Goblin Skin (Frontier Mtns/Droga/Nurga)
- Mt. Death Mineral Salts (Frontier Mtns/Droga/Nurga)
- Spiroc Bone Dust (Spiroc, Timorous Deep)
- Kill Marinda Flockwings (Firiona Vie) → Pure Essence
- Final Turn-in:
- In Ixpacan’s Tome combine: Brittle Bone, Poisoned Soul, Fiery Orb, and Gem of Reflection → a combined Ixpacan’s Tome.
- Hand the combined Tome to Ixpacan → spawns Child of Charasis.
- Kill the Child and loot Child of Charasis Remains.
- Turn Remains + Necromancer Skullcap in to Ixpacan → Demi Lich Skullcap!
