¶ Nature Walker’s Scimitar: Quest Guide
¶ Pre‑farmable Steps include:
- Step 7A: Forage Chilled Tundra Root (Everfrost), Ripened Heartfruit (Gfay), Speckled Molded Mushroom (Innothule), Sweetened Mudroot (Misty Thicket)
- Step 11A: Forage Rose of Firiona (Firiona Vie)
- Step 12A: Loot Jade Raeaver from a black reaver in City of Mist
- Step 14: Loot Pulsing Green Stone from the “triggered” remains of Venril Sathir (see step details)
- Step 16A: Loot Clean Lakewater from a corrupted shaman in Lake Rathetear
- Step 16B: Loot Ancient Rock from a corrupted hill giant in Rathe Mountains
- Step 16C: Loot Chunk of Tundra from a corrupted wooly mammoth in Everfrost

¶ Step 1
- Go to Burning Woods and locate Telin Darkforest at (+3240, +2880). Say “action” to receive a Worn Note.
- You may need to complete the “Muffin for Pandos” quest in West Freeport to gain enough faction if he doesn’t speak to you (amiable minimum).
¶ Step 2
- Go to Greater Faydark at Loc: +1535, +570. Clear the orc pawn PH’s until you find the correct one that spawns Faelin Bloodbriar. Kill the PH until Faelin spawns and then give her the Worn Note to receive Faelin’s Ring.
- You can also forage a Ripened Heartfruit here (see Step 7).
¶ Step 3
- Go to Kithikor Forest and track down Giz X`Tin (he roams, so you’ll need to search). Give him Faelin’s Ring to receive a Dark Metal Coin.
- When you turn it in, Teir`Dal Reaver will spawn and attack (no need to kill it).
¶ Step 4
- Return to Burning Woods (Telin Darkforest) and give him the Dark Metal Coin to receive a Worn Dark Metal Coin.
¶ Step 5
- Head to East Karana and find Althele (located at –3660, –1590). Give her the Worn Dark Metal Coin to receive a Braided Grass Amulet. This will also spawn Sionae nearby (–2590, –1600).
- Give Sionae the Braided Grass Amulet to receive a Frayed Braided Grass Amulet. This will spawn Nuien (–3650, +300).
- Give Nuien the Frayed Braided Grass Amulet (he will return it) and this will spawn Teloa (–3850, –2850).
¶ Step 6
- Go to Misty Thicket and track down Ella Foodcrafter. Give her an Earth Stained Note to receive a Shiny Tin Bowl.
- You can also forage a Sweetened Mudroot here (see Step 7).
¶ Step 7
- Forage in the following zones:
- Everfrost: Chilled Tundra Root
- Greater Faydark: Ripened Heartfruit
- Innothule Swamp: Speckled Molded Mushroom
- Misty Thicket: Sweetened Mudroot
- Once all four items are obtained, combine them in the Shiny Tin Bowl to create a Hardened Mixture (keep the bowl).
¶ Step 8
- You now need to raise your faction with Keepers of the Art. Buy 3,000 Batwing from any merchant (for example, Darius Gandril in the West Trade Building on the Plane of Knowledge) and turn them in to Niola Impholder in South Felwithe (reachable via the middle teleport pad). This will raise your faction to Ally (though Amiable is sufficient).
- You’ll also receive some copies of the level 1 Mage spell Flare (which you can sell).
- You must be at least Indifferent with Keepers of the Art to do this quest.
¶ Step 9
- Go to Timorous Deep and locate Alrik Farsight (near the Chessboard – the quickest way is via the Butcherblock Dock). Say “i will take the artifact” to receive a Crushed Pot.
- You need at least Amiable faction with Keepers of the Art for him to respond.
¶ Step 10
- Go to South Felwithe and give Farios Elianos your Crushed Pot to receive a Grocery List.
- Go to North Felwithe and give Merchant Nora your Grocery List to receive a Bag of Provisions.
- Return to South Felwithe and give Farios Elianos the Bag of Provisions to receive a Receipt.
- Return to Timorous Deep and give Alrik Farsight the Receipt to receive a Ancient Pattern.
¶ Step 11
- Go to Firiona Vie and forage a Rose of Firiona.
- Go to Surefall Glade and find Merdan Fleetfoot. Say “Who is Niera” then give him the Rose of Firiona to receive a Wood Painting.
- Go to Frontier Mountains. Along the south wall of the Giant Fort, locate a human skeleton (at –820, –900). Give it the Wood Painting to receive a Silver Chained Locket.
- Return to Surefall Glade, find Niera Farbreeze and give her the Silver Chained Locket to receive Platinum Speckled Powder.
¶ Step 12
- Go to City of Mist and kill a black reaver until you get a Jade Reaver (rare drop; tradable). It is recommended to bring a picklock class with you.
- Go to North Kaladim and give the Jade Reaver to Kinlo Strongarm to receive Enchanted Clay.
¶ Step 13
- Combine the following at a Pottery Wheel to create a Runecrested Bowl:
- Ancient Pattern (from Step 10)
- Platinum Speckled Powder (from Step 11)
- Enchanted Clay (from Step 12)
- Go to Misty Thicket and give Ella Foodcrafter the Hardened Mixture (from Step 7) and the Runecrested Bowl to receive a Softly Glowing Stone.
¶ Step 14
- Bring the following two items to Karnor’s Castle:
- Summoned: Firefly Globe (from the “Dance of the Fireflies” spell – temporary, non‑trade)
- Spell: Resurrection (a level 47 Cleric spell – bring the scroll of the spell)
- Kill Venril Sathir in Karnor’s Castle. (The “triggered” version spawns from his remains about 20 hours after his death.) Once found, give the remains the Firefly Globe to spawn the Spirit of Venril Sathir. Then, give the spirit the Resurrection scroll to spawn Venril Sathir. Kill him and loot a Pulsing Green Stone (you only need one).
¶ Step 15
- Go to Firiona Vie and locate Foloal Stormforest. Give her the Pulsing Green Stone (from Step 14) and the Softly Glowing Stone (from Step 13) to receive a Warmly Glowing Stone.
- Return to Misty Thicket and give Ella Foodcrafter the Warmly Glowing Stone to receive an Elaborate Scimitar.
¶ Step 16
- Go to Lake Rathetear and swim to the underwater tower. Kill the goblin PH’s on the right and left at the top to spawn a tainted aquagoblin. Kill it; upon death a corrupted shaman may spawn that drops Clean Lakewater. Loot it.
- Go to Rathe Mountains and kill Hill Giants until a tainted hill giant spawns. Kill it to spawn a corrupted hill giant and loot an Ancient Rock.
- Go to Everfrost and kill a wooly mammoth (and its calf) until a tainted wooly mammoth spawns. Kill it to spawn a corrupted wooly mammoth and loot a Chunk of Tundra.
¶ Step 17
- Go to Ocean of Tears and kill a seafury cyclops until a tainted seafury cyclops spawns. Kill it to spawn a corrupted seafury cyclops and loot Ocean of Tears Seavines.
- Go to Kedge Keep and kill seahorses in the caves until a tainted seahorse spawns. Kill it to spawn a corrupted seahorse and loot Kedge Cave Crystals.
- Go to Lesser Faydark and kill a brownie and a brownie scout until a tainted brownie spawns. Kill it to spawn a corrupted brownie and loot a Green Heartwood Branch.
- Remain in Lesser Faydark and track down a pained unicorn. Give it Ocean of Tears Seavines, Kedge Cave Crystals, and Green Heartwood Branch to receive a Gleaming Unicorn Horn.
- Go to Ak’Anon and find Silox Azrix along the north shore. Give him the Gleaming Unicorn Horn to receive Cleansed Spirit of Faydwer.
¶ Step 18 – Cleansed Spirit of Kunark
- Go to Emerald Jungle and kill tottering gorillas until a tainted gorilla spawns. Kill it to spawn a corrupted gorilla and loot Green Tree Bark.
- Go to Lake of Ill Omen and kill deepwater barracudas until a tainted barracuda spawns. Kill it to spawn a corrupted barracuda and loot Pure Lakewater.
- Go to Swamp of No Hope and find Ulump Pujluk. Say “what corruption” then kill him. Once dead, loot Froglok Essence (respawn ~2 hours).
- Go to Timorous Deep and locate Dolgin Codslayer in the oasis on the southern island. Give him Froglok Essence to receive a weak version of Faydedar; kill it and loot a Pod of Seawater.
- Go to Yeka Las in South Karana and give him the Warm Pulsing Treant Heart to receive Cleansed Spirit of Antonica.
¶ Step 19 – Nature Walkers Scimitar
- Go to North Karana and locate Xanuusus. Give him the following:
- Cleansed Spirit of Antonica
- Cleansed Spirit of Faydwer
- Cleansed Spirit of Kunark
- Elaborate Scimitar
- In return, you will receive the Nature Walkers Scimitar!
