¶ Ragebringer: Quest Guide

This walkthrough follows the “lucky” route (good faction, drops cooperate) and then covers every fallback the file outlines for poor faction or unlucky loot. Use whichever branch fits your situation.
¶ Step 1 – Renux Herkanor
- Head to Western Plains of Karana and find Renux Herkanor (-2990.59, 13400.64, 36.69). Kill her and loot a Translated Parchment. If you’re lucky she also drops a Jagged Diamond Dagger – keep it if so.
¶ Step 2 – Stanos & the Sealed Box
- Highpass Hold: find Anson Mcbale (5.26, 325.48, 45.10). If he isn’t up, a “Smuggler” placeholder or DZ versions can be used. Target Anson and
/say I need to see Stanos(Requires at least indifferent faction).
→ This spawns Stanos Herkanor (9.48, 336.05, 45.10). - Give Stanos the Translated Parchment. He returns a Sealed Box. :contentReference
¶ Step 3 – General V`ghera
- Kithicor Forest: go to the Dark Elf camp (803.89, 2300.51, 272.34). At least one Dark Elf must remain alive.
- Sneak/hide behind the surviving Dark Elf and hand in the Sealed Box.
→ General V`ghera (798.21, 2315.99, 274.95) spawns and likely attacks with the remaining elf. Kill him and loot a General’s Pouch. If he drops a Cazic Quill, keep it.
¶ Step 4 – Final Turn-in for Ragebringer
- Return to Highpass Hold. Target Anson McBale and
/say I need to see Stanosto spawn Stanos again. - Hand Stanos the General’s Pouch, plus your Jagged Diamond Dagger and Cazic Quill.

¶ Step 5 – Bad-Faction / Unlucky Routes
¶ Spawning Stanos on bad faction
- Qeynos Aqueducts: find Malka Rale (365.36, -203.74, -80.84) after 10 PM Norrath time. Target and
/say I can help→ Stanos’ Pouch. - Sneak (not hide) behind Anson McBale in Highpass, trade Stanos’ Pouch → Stanos spawns.
¶ If the Jagged Diamond Dagger didn’t drop
- Farm Renux Herkanor in Qeynos Rogue guild area; she always drops the Translated Parchment and has a decent dagger chance. Or do the long quest via Vilnius the Small in West Karana:
Fleshripper (Sol B king), Painbringer (Sol B champion), Mithril 2HS (LGuk king), Gigantic Zweihander (Karg Icebear) → trade all four to Vilnius → Jagged Diamond Dagger.
¶ If the Cazic Quill didn’t drop
- Farm General V`ghera repeatedly (Renux → Parchments → Boxes → General).
OR complete Vilnius’s robe turn-ins (Robe of the Kedge, Ishva, SMR, Oracle) for the quill.
